The cottage is quite secluded, it has a nice playground for the kids next to it. It is very wel furnished and the kitchen has a lot of basics included that cannot be found in many other cottages (herbs, salt etc.). It is clean and very comfortable and the hot pool is nice.

Comfy beds. Didn't get chance to go in the hot tubs but nice touch. They were not natural ones from the looks of things but lots of people using them so must have been warm. Wish we could have stayed longer tbh. Great powerful and warm shower and great view (although I think I paid extra possibly for that...?) the tomato farm and bistro was lovely, there was a free olive platter as part of the stay which was good. Would also recommend the Mika restaurant although it is pricey (but no more so than rest of Iceland really)
Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Geysir and 28 km of Gullfoss Waterfall.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful, suggesting places we could go see and where to go for food. The breakfast was great, and the kitchen was also available to use in the evenings. There was a hot tub available to use, and the location was great.
Geyser area is a popular stop in Iceland. Although I was skeptical of a hotel, located at a tourist, attraction, the hotel impressed us. The facility was new. The restaurant was top notch. In the evening After the tourist flow slows down, it is awesome to have so close to a cool attraction

We stayed at the Geysir hotel our first night in Iceland.
We stayed at the Geysir hotel our first night in Iceland. The location right next to the Geysir was perfect, as we were able to spend some time there in the evening after dinner. This allowed us to spend more time at other attractions within the Golden Circle during the day. Early check was available for us. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food and service for both was very good. The portions served for dinner were generous. Breakfast was included in our stay, there was a lot of variety to choice from.
