The guesthouse was very spacious, especially for our party of four, and having a washer and dryer was extremely convenient. The house was well furnished and comfortable. We appreciated the basket of snacks, although we didn’t use most of them. It was fun seeing the cows and sheep and birds in the field all around us. It was a great place to watch sunsets too :) Overall, this was a great home base for Húsavík and Mývatn.

We were right on a working farm in our two little cabins w/ sheep and dogs going back and forth and pretty views in all directions. Cool, newish cabin set-ups, nice windows and porches albeit small bathrooms (to be expected). We frankly wish we had more time there as it was all very relaxing. Quick drive into Husavik. Owner was nice and stayed out of our way.

The view was nice. Supposedly the room has a river view, but there is no way one can see the river, or hear it. The location is 4km to the waterfall, and an hour drive to Myvatn area which hosts the major diamond circle attraction. The breakfast, juices, cold cut and cereals nothing homemade, is okay despite the crowded room, we were there at 8:10am first day and most plates were empty, they didn't replenish quickly. Next day, we got there at 8am to realize there were cut fruits (banana, apples,...) and eggs.
