It was wonderful. Lovely hosts room was modern decorated, very comfortable and very clean. We didn’t have supper there as arriving late but if we stayed again would have supper, smelled delicious. Breakfast was lovely and gorgeous view of ocean from dining area and watched whales at breakfast. Amazing views.

Owners of this place were really friendly. Its located pretty much in Blondous centre. We were able to find free parking spots right infront of the guest house.

principalement l'hébergement était fantastique autant par son emplacement que par l'accueil de nos hotesses et la qualité des prestations (hébergement, diner, petit déjeuner)...Le village de Blonduos n'étant pas vraiment remarquable en tant que tel....

Great stop on the ring road, Hwy. 1.
Great stop on the ring road, Hwy. 1. Simple town with nice guesthouses on the ocean. Highly recommend the Brimslod Altier Guesthouse! We also had dinner there, and is open to non-guest reservations. A good place to stay overnight, not a lot of amenities in town or need to stay overly long. There are cafes and stops to gas.

Amazing sea views. Great breakfast.
Amazing sea views. Great breakfast. Ate dinner at another establishment in town that was very good. If we stayed longer we would have eaten dinner at the hotel. The room was gorgeous. Loved the roof window. It even had a bluetooth speaker that sounded great. We could have stayed much longer if we had the time. Blonduos is a quiet and beautiful little town with much history.

Nice little bridgehead town with various services.
Nice little bridgehead town with various services. A good base to travel from. Various choices of good day trips, e.g. around Skagi and Vatnsnes peninsulas, Skagafjörður district and the scenic valley of Vatnsdalur. Blönduós is also a good staring point for a highland drive across Kjölur to Reykjavík.

First self-catering stop on a trip round the E1, and set a standard that was hard to beat. The apartment was very spacious (the largest we stayed in), well appointed and had marvellous views over Blönduós and surrounding areas (the best views we had at our various stopping points). Cooking facilities were good. A really good start to our journey, which set standards later stops rarely met.
This rustic cottage was a few kilometres out of Blonduos, just off the main road. It was easy to find and very private. The location was picturesque and convenient for an overnight stay. The rooms were small and cosy with very comfortable furniture. The kitchen was also small but well-equipped. We had a very pleasant stay.
I loved the interior and the decor of this newly renovated hotel. The manager was extremely kind and told me a lot about the history of this place.
My bed was really comfy, the sea view amazing and the breakfast simply outstanding!
The hotel is situated in a very beautiful nature area. Our room was small but cosy, the beds were comfortable. We loved the warm pools. It is definitely worth stopping here for one night or two.
The hotel is a bit outdated but compensates with a good breakfast, friendly stuff, hot tubs and the beautiful surrounding area. Unfortunately no flat irons are available.
