We loved our stay here. The place is so cozy - when you pull up there are Icelandic horses majestically standing in the field overlooking the water. There is an adorable hand-made miniature troll/elf town, next to the restaurant. It was nice to be a little outside the city, very quiet. The rooms were nice with great view - didn’t use the hot tub but it would be an amazing place to watch sunset. Overall, highly recommend!!!

Super friendly & helpful staff. The hotel stored our cases after leaving our ship early at 10 am till the room being available at 3 pm so we could explore the cite. Great location and a good atmosphere in the place. Got an upgrade as well.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely done albeit showing some signs of age. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were an absolute delight to deal with and so helpful. The location was great being so close to Bus Stop 8 for touristy things and drop off from the airport transfer shuttle. One minute walk to the water and a number of delicious restaurants as well.

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities.The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
