I have stayed at here several times with my family and friends durring my visits to Wayanad. It's one of the best stays in the Area. The rooms we we're given were clean, spacious and had all the basic amenities we needed. One of the best highlight for me was the balcony in rooms we could spend endless hours enjoying the fog covered view.

Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food, the nature and surrounds were all wonderful. The staff were very attentive; Sujith, Prince and everybody there who were all very hospitable. The natural stream was the highlight for me where I had the most rejuvenating experience in a long time. All in all, we can wholeheartedly recommend.

However, I would not recommend the Hideaway Chalet with Valley View at its current price, as the property needs to address issues with room cleanliness, safety, soundproofing, and proper blackout features.

Staff was courteous and helpful, no doubt. However it was more mechanical than applied.
Food was good, but a variety wud have been appreciated.
Help on local sight seeing was forthcoming but should be more qualitative than summery.
Big balconies were welcome but were not useable as protection from monkeys was absent. Nets wud have helped, as was put in restaurant.
And the bath linen was not clean and lacked recycling care.

I had two days stay in the hotel.This hotel is in the middle of the forest.If someone is bored of the urban life this is one the finest place to relax and chill.It’s worth for 2 to 3 days stay.Few difficulties I found with the property is the accessibility.We have to travel around 2 to 3KM off-road to reach the property.I enjoyed it as I had an SUV with me,I believe this road will be quite difficult for small cars.
I had a feeling that the hotel could have organise some kind of activity for the customers like trekking or something else to spend some time on.
Overall my stay was pleasant and comfortable.I had a good time with brookside.cheers!!!!

Recommended by a friend and one of the best places I've been. Very pristine and local experience, unlike other commercialized hill stations in TN and Kerala. Weather was perfect. We went during monsoons but the rains added a new level to the experience.

There is no safety for customers roof tiles may fall on your head any time and in that case they provided alternative room which is inferior quality and low standards. Highly unsafe for children and elders. Management focus only on money making and no responsibility towards their fault.

I would probably only go here if you had a solid plan mapped out or a guide otherwise it’s very difficult to find things to do. Most of the attractions are things like a lake or a dam, if you’re looking for nature and trekking/hiking there’s only 1 or 2 here, would go to munnar instead of you’re on the hunt for something in the mountains/nature appreciation.

The hotel is very conveniently located near several sight seeing places (Pookode Lake , Kalpetta, Banasura Dam). It is situated right next to the main road and easily accessible. The rooms are large and easily accommodate 2 adult +2kids kind of families . Indoor games facility is good and keeps kids engaged. They provided materials for lighting our own campfire. The property is neatly maintained. The staff (Joey and Deepak) were courteous and helpful.
Location of property is very good. Easily accessible. some tourist spots are nearby to this property. Many restaurants are also available in the locality. Cleanliness is as good as expected. Ambience is also very nice. They are arranging breakfast from outside so breakfast options are limited. It can be improved. Overall very good.
Descent room, we stayed in 2 BHK. Friendly owner. It had additional mattress and add furnitures.
Clean bathroom and all facilities. Near to road.
He gave mosquito repellents on request. Also guided us on tourist places and how to plan around.
Also has accommodation for driver.
Comfortable and affordable homestay. Host was much friendly and available at all the times. We reached late at midnight still he was okay to welcome us and he arranged us cab for sightseeing. This gud stay for everyone who wish for a budget stay in wayanad.
The resort is located at the prime location and the staffs were really amazing.
The check- In and Check Out process was so smooth.
