Good location in the heart of Attingal centre, easy access to all areas, with parking facilities. Breakfast served in restaurant by pleasant and courteous staff. All food ordered including breakfast, snacks and dinner was delicious and delivered efficiently. Room was comfortable and quiet even though we were in the city centre we did not hear any noise.

Location is at the quieter end of Varkala beaches. Super quiet, no barking dogs, no nearby construction, no noisy party goers. Away from noisy tourist hub. The downstairs room I had looked out to the beach and ocean. The room and location felt safe and secure for me as a single, older female traveller. The manager was super helpful and attentive, eager to assist and please. He booked a taxi to the airport for my departure and was up before 5am to ensure I left safely. He booked an auto rickshaw for me to get into Varkala town to get to the post office and the auto driver went out of his way to assist me with my town errands. Breakfast is included. Beach side fresh breakfast is served at the neighbouring resort and was pleasant, fresh juices, fresh tropical fruit salad, curd and plenty of hot options, I stuck to the healthy. Lunch and dinner is available 5 minute walk to x2 nearby resorts or a 15 minute walk to the cliff beach cafe precinct. I ate at Blue Waters Resort 2 nights and Baba Farm Restaurant x1 night. Blue Waters was tasty, beautiful beach side garden setting and decent selection of multi nation cuisine. The Indian meals were authentic and tasty. The beach is clean, yellow sands (not black like near the cliff face resorts), was a 2 minute walk out my front door, idyllic place to swim and relax near to local traditional fishing enclave. Flower Hill Cottage is very new so it was well maintained, superbly clean, comfy bed, clean linen (unusual for southern India). There are ground staff gardening, cleaning, fixing constantly to keep the place looking cared for. All round good value for money. I also was advised to attend a treatment at a close by Ayurvedic clinic which the manager walked me to called Dr Ayurveda. Also worth a visit. Varkala town is about a 10 to 15 minute auto rickshaw ride and cost me 650 rupees for 3 hours duration. I very much enjoyed my stay and it fullfilled my need for a short 2.5 day R and R. I would highly recommend.

The beds were super comfy, friendly staff and a short stroll down to the Tibetan Market

Superb modern, minimalist room with silent fan and ice cold A/C. Ample wardrobe space and comfy bed. Bathroom had an excellent shower with warm water always available. Very friendly staff. Located a short walk from the North Cliff, but tucked away in a silent corner with little traffic noise.

The room was a great size, the bathroom was large and the bed comfortable, plus it had a fridge which was an added bonus. The staff were really friendly and the adjacent restaurant served good food.
