We least expected the property to turn out to be this good. The rooms are quite big and what is a big plus is that there is a separate living room and a separate closet room/cloak room/dressing room which make it sooooo much more convenient to keep/organise your belongings. The room overall is well maintained and we didnt face any issues with the bathroom as well. In one of the rooms there were minor issues with the tap and that was immediately addressed when we raised it with the front desk. Toiletries are kept in the bathroom. The basic things like a small refrigerator (empty mini bar), kettle etc are kept in the living room. The food at their restaurant vivaan is damn good. The complimentary breakfast has quite a decent spread of south indian variety. The staff is very courteous and are nimble footed when it comes to helping the guests with anything. Its in the city centre. A couple of min drive to the main udupi krishna matha. Manipal is a 10mins drive. There are medical/bakery/restaurants/clothes or apparel stores in the vicinity (walkable too). The staff also helped us arrange for a cab for our entire trip. It definitely was totally worth it.

Didn't get much time to explore the city or nearby areas due to time constraint. But it is a typical sleepy, interior town, as u are likely to find in every state in India.
It has all the modern things available in the city including few malls and shopping centers.
There is a famous Krishna temple which one must visit here. Also, there are many beaches one can go to, being on the coastline.

Great location with a fantastic mix of Sereneness, Modern (Manipal & Malls), Tradition, Lovely Temples with an aura of their own, Superb beaches, Good Food (Woodlands, Madhuram & some small eateries, especially has great options for Vegetarian), Excellent drives with good roads (except minor irritants here & there which should be overlooked), Cute Railway Station, Clean & neat Town and above all, wonderful people. Above all, achieved with motto of built-in Sustainable Travel.
Lot of must visit places and unfortuantely, I could visit only about 25%? It has so much to offer.

Fantastic staff, lovely surroundings, and a very cute room. The hotel has the nicest and most helpful staff I've ever encountered. The hotel was outstanding in every way. We had breakfast there, and the place was spotless, spacious, and had great service. The food was excellent and well-valued, and attentive service was provided. The room itself was cozy and very well furnished. I had a great time during my visit. In the future, I plan to return for a longer stay.
The rooms were neat and clean, comfortable stay.
Location is close to the Udupi Krishna temple, right next to old bus stand.. lot of places to eat around..
The hotel was good, the room was spacious, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good AC, overall good hotel...
