Wonderful view and great service. Location is a little off the main tourist locations yet close to the mountains and the sea plantation. The hotel team was very flexible and accommodating, rooms were clean and organized.

Absolutely beautiful home in the middle of a cardamom plantation. Stunning. We used this house to decompress and catch up on work after being in North India for a few weeks. It was a perfect place to relax.
The food was exquisite and the staff could not have been more kind!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hostel, and I must say it was a memorable experience overall. Anuj, who manages the property, stood out as an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
Anuj's hospitality was outstanding, and he was always ready to assist with any queries or requests. His commitment to guest satisfaction truly added a personal touch to the hostel experience. Additionally, the friendly and welcoming attitude of staff members contributed significantly to making my stay warm and comfortable.
There was great emphasis on cleanliness at the property. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable for a hostel. The attention to cleanliness certainly added to the overall positive impression of the hostel.
While there were many highlights, a couple of areas could benefit from some attention. The food at the hostel was absolutely delicious, but I couldn't help but feel that the prices were a bit on the higher side. A slight reduction in prices would make the dining experience more budget-friendly for travellers
Rooms were super clean and so were the washrooms. Big cafe area and common area are big enough to accommodate atleast 70+ guests.
Overall, the stay was par excellence and recommended.

Suryanelli is one of the best visit if you love hill stations and tea. You could get grade A and B teas from here. And since this is the highest tea factory in the world, the taste of the tea is also amazing.
Also, the road that leads to this place is really good for bike rides and from the trekking point to the viewpoint, you could also enjoy an extreme off-road trip.

Travel from Munnar to Pooppara itself is a pleasant experience. Suryanelli is not a big city but the places that we can visit from there are fantastic. Kolukkumalai Sunrise Point (must ensure that you reach the hill top before sunrise and for that, you should book in advance and must reach the jeep safari point before 4.30 am), Anayirangal Dam, Sunset View from Phantom Hill (for those who like adventure as one need to walk steep hill to reach there and to see the sunset, should reach the base camp before 4 pm). I must admit that I reached there late and therefore, I had to walk alone and as it was late, I had to return halfway!
