I checked in the evening and wanted badly a shower. Turned the tap on and only cold water coming. I called the reception and some one answered rudely that 'You get 4 AM in the morning'. Next day morning still there is no hot water, just Luke warm water. Towels and bedsheets looks rubbish.
I don't recommend this hotel.

Staff was gracious and very helpful. The owner is informative and conscientious. Food was delicious, and thoughtfully served on my odd schedule. Roof terrace breakfasts were a daily revelation: the surroundings are lovely, and the animal life sweet (parakeets, heron, peacocks, cows, dogs, very few mosquitos). Sleep was good in all the deep nighttime quiet. It really is far removed from everything.

Jyothi Suites is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk of the south entrance to the temple and has private parking onsite. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It was a very nice stay.

We went for paramapadavasal. V had darshan 2 times with and without paramavasal darshan. Then had arayar seva in 1000 pillar mandap, thayaar darshan then had an opportunity to attend yekanda Veena seva, Nam perumal padiyettram, Mangala harathi upto end of the day v spent in srirangam temple with perumal from 15th jan 4pm to 11.45pm
Then next day v had darshan of other deities and shrines of temple

Booking dot com helped in finding a good hotel just opposite to the Vellaigopuram tower. Hotel is moderate and needs some little care about cleanliness and bath room accessories. Overall good deal for the price.
