The Bodhgaya Hotel School is an excellent place to stay in Bodhgaya for visiting the Bodhi Tree where Buddha has attained Enlightenment more than 2500 years ago, the Maha Bodhi temple which marks the spot and the other Buddhist temples from various countries, located in the area. The hotel itself is just behind the giant (80-feet high) Buddha Statue, which is a popular attraction. The room was nice and clean, the food at the hotel's restaurant has been excellent and the staff is really nice. Most are students, and they pay a lot of attention to their guests' satisfaction. The manager from the reception desk has also been super helpful providing excellent advice regarding the places I wanted to see, and getting me rickshas and a taxi with well-manered drivers and very good prices. I highly recommend this hotel. If I return to this area I will definitely stay there again.

It was an amazing 2 night stay at the Royal View Residency. Loved the hospitality of the owner Raj Kumar and hotel staff. The room was clean with all the major amenities available. Food at the restaurant was also very tasty. Moreover, this hotel is located at the heart of the Bodh Gaya city with easy access to nearby tourist places like Buddha Statue, Mahabodhi temple, and monasteries. I would highly recommend this place to future travelers.
