It has great views of Kanchenjunga to offer and is perfect for going off-the-grid for a couple days but there's not much else to do here. The nearby spots of attraction can be easily reached from Lava, which is a more happening place.

The cab syndicate which insists that we take their service if we want to go sightseeing from Rishop is a buzzkill. The syndicate guys almost started a fight with my pre-booked cab driver. The people were extremely rude. There is no TV or Mobile signal. Won't recommend to stay, but a decent place for views if you are going for a day trip.
