I liked Morjim more than Arambol or other villages around because of the silence on the streets, no people around, clean Morjim beach and green streets which looked like a park.
I was scared of local barking and attacking dogs in the beginning as I am a cat-person, but then get used to them and stopped paying attention. Every household in Morjim has 1-3 dogs.

We wanted to see North Goa so chose Morjim.
We wanted to see North Goa so chose Morjim. What was good is that Chapora Fort and Anjuna beach are nearer and must be visited. However Morjim is far from the airport, Old Goa and Panaji. We recommend that those interested in walking and guided tours should stay in South Goa.

Morjim is a nice place to stay with family and friends. Dont expect to have too many famous restaurants but the food is really good if u dont want to go to fancy known places which i think most travellers shpuld avoid during weekends as there is a lot of rush and waiting. Might as well try local food and ask around lime i did. Infact i googleg some places to eat and they were as good as the famous ones when it comes to food.

Since I was looking for a peaceful place to stay I chose Morjim and it was surely a good decision . There is South Indian Restaurant (Udupi) nearby with less priced food and its good at the same time . Also there is a big medical shop nearby the Skon Resort . The Beach is less crowded . Goan Kitchen is famous for its local sea food however we couldn't have a meal there since it was undergoing a renovation work .
You may visit 'Smoky Fish Cafe' for good Sea food .
We had a great English Breakfast in Plant Cafe Morjim served with Bacons .

Felt the trip was a waste because of my wrong decision on booking with this property ! There was no water whole night and had so much trouble to use Rest rooms. Also they do not provide drinking water too ! Such a pathetic Holiday this was because of this property. Their rooms are not worth even Rs 5k .

Most of hotels,resorts and homestay are far from beach and overpriced compared to vagator Baga and calngute beach.
Practically not much public buses.you have to drive scooter on rent. for 24 km travel to new mopa aiport I paid 1500 INR and INR 1000 for mall de goa (15 km).
If you are looking for isolation and this is for you.otherwise south goa is preferable.
It was a pleasant experience at La Vaiencia beach resort Goa with helpful and polite staff,comfortable stay.

Resort very well maintained. Best part of the resort you can find out in one umbrella multi things such as very close to Morjim Beach, iIn-house bar, multi cuisine restaurant, Gym , packing etc.
The property is close to the beach and the staff is really helpful. The rooms are spacious and the property is far away from the hustle and bustle of crowded North Goa.
There are restaurants and cafe close by. Also a shack where you can directly access the beach at anytime.
The only thing missing and is already underway is an onsite eatery.
The location is amazing. The beach is just 2 mins walk from the place. The location is away from the rave and party noises otherwise found in North Goa. If you are looking for absolute peace and calm and want to enjoy the tranquillity of the beach, This is the best place to do so.
