Excellent place! We came from the North where hotels are nowhere near as nice. These people are so hospital, they make delicious breakfast and dinner, and the room is great. It's just a 30 second walk to the beach too. The dad even got coconuts for us too. Definitely recommended.

Very lovely choice for Marari Beach. The rooms and the property are very very well maintained. Everything was super clean and the host and his family are very friendly, polite and took very good care of us. The room has hot shower and AC. They also offer laundry service which was THE BEST😍
When you first arrive, google maps is a little confusing: the first time you can enter through the gate of “Marari Beach Villas”. Marari Beach House is on the same property but on the back side. After check in they will show you their proper entrance and exit.
It’s a 2 minute walk from the beach and perfectly located to enjoy the beach AND having some time out away from the heat. The garden and surrounding of the room are blooming and you can relax in the hammocks. It’s like a little beautiful jungle. (Bring mosquito repellent for sunrise and sunset time ;-)) They also provide breakfast and dinner. The breakfast option is VERY convenient, bc the restaurants and shops here open a bit later (around 11:00).
It’s perfect for a quick visit or a long term stay.

Excellent behaviour of the host. It feels like home. The homestay is neat and clean and everything is amazing 🤩. They even provided free breakfast which was mind-blowing in taste. Beach is just 100 meters away and environment was breathtaking

Jayashri and Biju are great host they are kind and they have excellent communication with us. The place is beautiful very well located, very clean and modern. The room are spacious and the balcony has a nice view to the garden. The breakfast is fantastic full of variety and a lot of food. I highly recommended this place to anyone is visiting Marari beach. Very small sleepy village perfect for a remote escape. Unspoiled beach and nature with friendly inhabitants. A total escape. It is not a tourist spot but a quiet escape.
The remoteness means little amenities like restaurants and shops. Come prepared with some snacks and supplies. A large resort hotel and some smaller ones, along with homestay, but little else for the independent traveller

Great area - a little away from the hustle & bustle of other areas so it is quieter. The beach is beautiful, clean & quiet. Easy to get transport to other areas for more activity - close to backwater tours etc.
Only limitation is perhaps lack of eating out options within walking area, best to have hotel with restaurant otherwise will need to travel by tuk tuk or taxi.

The resort was a little too far away from the beach and the beach had no chairs, shade or umbrellas making it very difficult to stay very long. The surrounding area was not good to stroll around. The massage treatments are a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away and are quite expensive for India £34. We have been paying £15 previously.

I was at much trouble due to the stay at Mararikulam due to booking at Spot On Sb Cruise, Aleppey (There is no such property). So I was to search for another property with the help of some Good Local peoples and by their efforts, I got a place to sleep.

I like very much all areas of Mararikulam, I think it is cleaner than other places. The beach is amazing and magical, people are very kind. it is a paradise on earth, unfortunately, my resort needs some restoration, especially rooms, and the swimming pool. Nature is really enchanting
I was in Seclude Marari sand resort, potentially the best part of the beach but the resort needs some work. It is quite expensive for the services it offers

Bincy, the owner, was delightful. Her family are fishermen and all very friendly. They were about to open a restaurant but you can ask for an evening meal. Breakfast was okay. The homestay is only a minute's walk from Marari beach. Simple and basic stay for very little money. You can't access the property by car. It's a short walk on the sand but Bincy kindly offered to carry our bags, We managed them ourselves. All the local people were very friendly and helpful.
The location itself was awesome ...we had a great dinner and complimentary breakfast. The person who assisted us was Bruce ...i went with my mother where she enjoyed every bit in the hotel ...kerala outing near by was tuff and auto charges are costlier but the stay made the trip enjoyable..thank you Bruce sir
It was good stay with family. The host of this property was great person's, they are helping lot and the food was amazing. Mararikulam beach nearby walkable distance. Only the main problem was no power backup. But otherwise overall experience was good value for the money.
Great sized room. Unique outdoor style shower. Pool was nice. Very friendly staff. Villa was beautiful, secluded and close to the beach. Breakfast was very tasty. We liked that the hotel provided bikes and beach mats for free. Would highly recommend, worth the money.
Everything!!! Our hosts are perfect and their home made food is excellent. Would really recommend the homestay for anyone who would like to enjoy the calm vibe of Marari beach.
