I had been to Mangalore to attend a Rotary District...
I had been to Mangalore to attend a Rotary District Conference and the venue, Indiana Convention Center was excellent.
I felt cheated at Goldfinch Hotel as the room they gave me was far below the size that I had envisaged. To make things worse, the man at the reception bluntly told me that breakfast was not included. I noticed later that there was no photos displaying the classification of rooms with different rates and about whether breakfast was included or not.

A city I always loved form my working there back in 2010-2011. Unique city like Vizag where one can enjoy beaches and just travel ~ 100+ kms to reach hilly areas and enjoy hill station experiences, temples and churches to watch... Can engage in sea water sports if interested... And food - NO WORDS can describe the cuisisne at Mangalore - from breakfast at udipi restaurant opp City Center Mall or seafood from innumerous restaurants, special ice cream at Ideal....

It's too hot for people like me from places like Coorg.
It's too hot for people like me from places like Coorg. And the stuffs are sold at higher prices, including food, Hotel bookings, etc. The weather is so horrific during the mid day, u can't even bare to stand outside in the sun for even 5 minutes

It is my home town and so I love it!
It is my home town and so I love it! It has over the years become really crowded, the city area but there are so many positive things to note. The people are really warm, kind and helpful. EVen the auto drivers are polite and wait if u ask them, they don't scream at you for extra or haggle or say no to destinations. The weather is hot and humid in the day time but cool and lovely in the nights. Lots of eateries. Everything is so close by, Private buses are public transport here and they run on time and are great to get around wherever u want. Lots of churches and temples to visit. Awesome place overall.

THIS PROPERTY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. THE ROOMS ARE NEAT , CLEAN AND WITH ADEQUATE SIZE . WASHROOMS WERE NEAT WITH PROVISION OF HOT WATER IN THE MORNING HOURS. STAFF WERE VERY CORDIANT . NICE LOCATION AND EASILY IDENTIFIABLE. I WOULD PREFER TO STAY HERE AGAIN DURING MY NEXT VISIT TO MANGALORE. ALL THE BEST FOR TEAM AND WISH YOU WOULD KEEP UP WITH THE EXPECTATIONS

The only hotel to accept a couple from different religions in Mangalore. All other hotels rejected us for this pathetic reason. Great staff. Friendly behaviour.
