Even in the hot summer, the weather was pleasant and no sweat. Places to visit in summer are Narayani Temple, Mapro Garden, Wax Museum, Tiger Point, Sun Set point etc. Had food maximum times in Meritas Adore Resort only because the Restaurant was too good for quality and variety.

Scenic Location. Tourist spots are ill equipped with conveniences like rest rooms or toilets. Noisy and clogged roads. virtually no Public Toilet Facilities anywhere and the few available smell terrible and are infrequently maintained.
People spitting all the time and everywhere.
Lots of very expensive Luxury Hotels.
Great if all you want to do is get away from Mumbai City and just chill out with a Bloody Mary or G and T by the poolside for a couple of days.

Lonavla is a great place for a short break from Mumbai city. Its crowded and tends to be noisy. But... there are villas and resorts tucked away in nice corners that do afford peace and tranquil. the road to lonavla...is less than desireable...neither is the exit route.
if you do manage to get there,, the rest is usually a decent fare

We went from Monday onwards so as to avoid the weekend crazy rush ....We stayed close to the railway station so that all the attractions were easily accessible... but then the place is equally crowded like any city ... if one stays little away from the centre of lonavala , then less crowd will be there.
For eating delights, Hotel Chandralok for Thali, Golden vadapao (avoid chillies chutney), Cooper's fudge, Hotel Annapoorna can be tried surely...buy some chikki which is a local attraction...

We had been in one of the most beautiful property of Tropicana Stays named Ignite villa.
Me and my family had a wonderful stay at the property. The property was new with amazing architecture of each room with modern design , the bedding quality was equal to a high grade five star hotel and the linens were of the best quality. We plan to visit once again in monsoon and will surely recommend this property to all my friends who will be visiting Lonavala. Thank you Anurag for suggesting such a good property we will come back again.
This villa is best in Lonavala at an affordable price for 5-6 people. Very comfy stay with clean and spacious rooms. There is no place to roam as its an outskirts of lonavala but if you want to go for relaxation, one of an ideal spot away from fast life of city. Owner of this villa has been very cooperative and polite from start of the booking till the end. I would prefer to go again & again. Would also recommend this villa to my friends and family
- Service was amazing! Athrila, Pratik, Sandipan, Anil and everyone in the cafe were absolutely fantastic! (sorry can’t remember all the names but they were all FAB!) The house keeping and in room dining staff were very efficient and helpful. Overall 5 star service by staff despite working such long hours! These guys deserve recognition!
- Water park was great and food was delicious!
On the positive side, a calm and relaxing villa, well designed for family holidays with all basic amenities with good mobile network and swimming pool, 10 people can easily be accommodated. Caretakers can provide food/snacks options, or meals can be ordered from 'lonavala cafe'.
