A very serene place in the middle of the forest in waynad. Staff are very friendly and good. Clean, great food. Place has enough things to do for a family. Go for a nature walk, have swim in the pool or spend time in the river that is just behind the property.

After travelling around other regions of India for a few weeks, Machaan felt like a quiet, serene, paradise island! The perfect place to relax and unwind. The wildlife you can see by just staying in the property is immense and with the Naturalist’s walks and guides, you learn so much during your stay. The restaurant staff and food were also incredible. We also did the waterfall, tea plantation and wild swimming with picnic excursion which we both really enjoyed - it was a private excursion and we were treated like VIPs the whole time. We loved every second of our stay.

Amazing location and very special environment - the bamboo huts and grounds of Koomankolly makes it a very special place, with ponds, meditation space and dining area, it feels like it's own universe.
Food was fantastic, especially in the evening.

Amazing Stay with Friendly Staff!
We had a great time at Agraharam Resort! Manager Suraj and the team—Darshanwere so welcoming and helpful. The cottages were clean and had a lovely traditional vibe.

Not many activities around , but can go to waterfall and do tiger safari and few more activities here n there. . getting right accommodation/resort partner is key, who can address the limitations , though we were not so fortunate and managed things on our own.
