The property location is on a scenic valley. The food was awesome and tasty. The saff behavior was supergood. We had a campfire setup with the family and the arrangements made by them were really nice and it was a memorable evening. I would love to stay there again if I get a chance.

Review: Valley View Inn, Kotagiri
We recently stayed at Valley View Inn, Kotagiri for one night, and it was a memorable experience. The staff were decent and very responsive, making sure our stay was comfortable and hassle-free.
The dinner was a highlight of our visit. We ordered chapathi and pepper chicken semi-gravy, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the meal was served hot and on time, right in our room.
The rooms were neat and clean, and the washrooms were hygienic, ensuring a pleasant stay. The view from the balcony was stunning, offering a peaceful and scenic view of the valley, perfect for relaxation.
One thing we truly miss from our stay is Jaggu, a naughty little puppy who roams around the property. His playful antics added a special charm to our experience and made it even more delightful.
Overall, Valley View Inn is a wonderful place for a short and peaceful getaway in Kotagiri. The combination of great service, good food, cleanliness, and the company of Jaggu makes it highly recommended!
Great location, save yourself the hassle of Ooty traffic!

To begin with am unhappy to give a star which is not worth .
To begin with am unhappy to give a star which is not worth . We were staying in villa 2 and 3, We were not provided with the basic things like soap , tooth brush ,tooth paste , shower gel etc., there is no telephone to contact the reception. Every time we have to walk to the office to get our needs . For a room they are charging 4500 rs and it was just an ordinary room . Where as the blankets were old due to this we had a disturbed sleep because of the chillness. And for the dinner they have only 4 items fried rice ,noodles , chapathi and Phulka think if people doesn’t like these items what they will provide and highly disappointed with the complementary breakfast. Menu was idly dosa and bread butter jam. Recently I went to varkala there I stayed in a resort near beach it cost only 3000 rs it’s an AC room . And their complementary breakfast was idly , dosa ,poori with egg masal, puttu with Channa masala , bread butter jam and fruit salad . I really regret for choosing this property, it’s your responsibility to make the guest who stays in your property happy .

Tea gardens stretch wherever the eye can see, sparsely populated, not yet full of milling, jostling hordes of tourists. Still unspoiled. However it helps to have your own transport or hire one to be able to visit places at leisure. We did a day trip to Coonoor and felt we were better off staying in Kotagiri as we didn’t want to do many touristy things

Travelling all the way for 10 hours was not worth, as apart from the location nothing is right. The food served by the property management is very less and the taste is also not that great. No nearby sight seeing places also. My sincere advise to the resort management is to think about the food facility that is been provided to the customers.

Kotagiri is peace and calm unlike Ooty, perhaps no lake but beautifully compensated with green meadows, awesome landscape, waterfall and exciting eating joints and not forgetting Kodanadu estate - very good valley view from there
