No need to go Goa one who is with family and not interested in other activities like pub and disco and joints. One who is travelling with family or couple and want to enjoy beach and nature this is the best place ... It has water sports also.

we ate at konkan darbar in murud beach..food was nice with medium pricing.if you want to have seafood try the family run small outlet at kashid/murud . Dry fish/white onions great to buy back home.

Kashid is one of the beaches located in Konkan region.
Kashid is one of the beaches located in Konkan region. Of the 4 major beaches, I find Kashid the best owing to yellow sand and relatively clean water. There are host of options available for overnight stay. One can choose from sprawling villas to relaxing resorts. Apart from the beach, one can choose to visit famous Janjira fort which is 20km. For a weekend gateway, i will recommend Kashid hands down.

Our resort was too good ..loved everything of my stay..staff is very polite and friendly..food was home cooked and nice.. proximity to the chikani beach and the attractive European style cottage is the USP of this resort.Will definitely recommend it to my friends.
