It was a wonderful stay at Deodar Stays. I went with family and we had booked a family cottage. The rooms were big. Had two double beds. Beds were comfortable. Toiletries including dental kit were there. Towels and bed linens were clean. The view from the cottage was great. They also arranged for Bonfire at nominal charges. The food was also tasty. The adventure activities were nearby. Its inside the Deodar forests and you can take a stroll as well.
Overall we liked the stay and will prefer to stay there when we go to Kanatal again.

The owner is very nice person.
The owner is very nice person. Dipakbhai the manager is gem of person, and all staff is super, location and food just t BEST, all jaguar fittings. Main was climate, clouds r coming in room. Just wow . try ragi pizza, flower adrak sabji, breakfast was awesome.

Kanatal is a place whose name I didn't know until I started...
Kanatal is a place whose name I didn't know until I started planning this trip. The place seemed to have appeared on tourist maps a few years ago upon the advent of a Club Mahindra resort. The place is on a mountain top surrounded by pine forests and with views stretching far. There are some children's play areas but little else by way of restaurants, shops or bars. Good place to go for privacy, meditation, hiking and probably for honeymoon couples.

Small village in Uttarakhand, 10 kms from Chama town. Quite place with beautiful surroundings and scenic beauty. Excellent place for a relaxing holiday, away from maddening crowd. Places to visit : Surkanda Temple, Tehri Dam and New Tehri Town.
