The autosphere and spiritual experience in Haridwar is amazing. Pure Indian culture and not too much "western" influence as Rishikesh.
Being a part of the Ganga Aarti was powerful. Due to vacation period (may-june) it was a lot of people, but for me that just made the experience much more alive and real. I will come back and highly recommend Haridwar if you are looking for Indian culture, tradition, rituals and spirituality.

Haridwar is land of hindu mythology... Ganga which is worshipped as mother flows here.. it is always full of devotees. One can feel aroma of spirituality in air . So many temples to visit with extraordinary features. A life time visit one should not miss.. pure traditional Indian food cooked in open kitchen.. hotels, dharamshala, resorts, river bank hotels etc to suit every pocket. JAI SHREE RAM

At har ki podi attend ganga aarti. It was very blissfull. Local auto & taxi need to be more helpfull & transperent. Missed ola & uber services. If u r travelling u have to bargain with local transporters.
