Great Place to Be. I was looking for Properties in Chopta, was not sure that as lot of them were tents. Happy that i choose Hummingbird for my stay, newly built. Staff was courteous, rooms were really clean. They also have a beautiful cafe on top floor, which serves mouth Licking food. This place is highly recommended if you are planning for Chopta as Tungnath temple is just 30 minutes drive from here.

Viswanath temple was at walking distance and was worth visiting. Sunset over the hills was spectacular. Helipad was nearby and we travelled to Kedarnath and could return in the same day. Plenty of restaurants and food was cheap. The city is worth visiting.

Stayed at Vishnu Palace hotel. Nice people, excellent room service, very good food, on-demand tea and snacks available either at the dining hall or at the room, reasonable price, good guidance about local sightseeing, cleanliness of room and bathroom are very good, Peaceful location and easily accessible as it just on the main road to Sonprayag. It is just 5 to 6 kms away from Phata helipad. I really enjoyed the stay at Vishnu palace hotel with the food and the people.
