As I have visited in Winters 27 dev 2024 it was good to enjoy the weather. Best place for relax. Food joints and fuel station was near by. Lots of THEKA between the market and Resort. 😁😁

Very less traffic...can book a taxi for a day in reasonable price. The Skyway experience is a must take... You can cover all tourist spot in two days...
You must try kombucha...at the tea estate... the ice cream was also very refreshing.

We didn't stay in the town which looked to be very busy but stayed at a resort which was located in a secluded valley outside the town. We did stay a few days in McLeodganj but it was too crowded and full of traffic pollution.

Dharamsala is a sprawling, working town in a very beautiful part of India. Unfortunately, the town does not match its surroundings and has little to offer the essential traveller. We went to watch Test match cricket in what is an impressive location but I would suggest that if the ground wants to hold more Test matches and T20s, then more investment needs to be made in the town itself in order to attract overseas visitors.

Dharamshala is a city in Himachal Pradesh that has a lot of attractions and natural scenery. It is the residence of the Dalai Lama and the center of Tibetan culture. It is also a place for spirituality, peace, and rejuvenation. It has two parts: the lower Dharamshala and the upper Dharamshala or McLeodganj. Some of the places to visit in Dharamshala are Dal Lake, Kangra Fort, Jwalamukhi Devi Temple, Tea Gardens, Bhagsu waterfalls and none but the least is the Dharamshala Ropeway

This is one of the best hotels I've ever been to, by far! They really made me feel extremely welcome and went out of their way to make my time in Dharamshala even more magical! If you are looking for a place to stay, this is it!
The rooms are massive, the bathrooms are stunning, and the view from the balcony is just amazing!
The hotel also comes with a fully staffed kitchen, and they make the most delicious food and drinks!

It's a good budget hotel located in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and cooperative staff. An excellent option away from the crowd in Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. The owner also helped us with sending an item we had forgotten, through courier. That was really awesome of them. Thanks to the owner. Please do consider if you visit dharamshala and mcleodganj!
This is a very good hotel located in the nice and quiet pleace with a beautiful view on city of Dharamshala, mountins and fields. The owner and manager Abishek is very helpfull and kind. The suff is polite and professional. I had a large clean and comfortable view and enjoyed my staying here. I can recommend Aashray villa to everyone.
There was nothing to like. Firstly shame on you booking.com for qualifying this as a 4-star hotel. It is a 2 star property at best. They had jacked up the prices because of the cricket weekend. They were barely able to make a sandwich and hot chocolate forget anything else.
