The resort is around 20 minutes from Dhanaulti main road. The cab winds around a dusty mountain road off from the main road to reach the resort which initially appears isolated and 'frightening'. But the view of the Himalayas from the resort is exhilarating and beautiful. The staff are very courteous and make you feel at home. I should thank Mr. Rahul, the 'very young' care taker for making us feel comfortable. Mr. Chen Singh, the cook prepared wonderful and tasty dishes for us. We really relished the food. The cab had been arranged by the resort. Mr. Jayaprakash Uniyal, cab driver was very well behaved and made our outside trips very interesting. He picked us up from the airport. We made trips to Tehri dam, Surkanda Devi Temple, Kanatal adventure park and Dhanaulti eco park. We missed the jungle jeep trip. The rooms and toilets are well maintained and clean. The bedspreads and towels were very clean. Hot water was available from the taps. Inspite of the biting cold, we had a wonderful time.

Dhanaulti is located in the east of Mussoorie. I personally feel that, Dhanaulti is a far better hill station compared to the overhyped Mussoorie! Those who are searching for a peaceful place to stay away from the hustle bustle from cities, this is one of the best options in the state of Uttarakhand.

My stay at Hotel Groove Garden was amazing. I was there for 6 nights with my family. Me my wife and my 3 year old child. We visited during the last week of June 2022. The weather was amazing, rains about to start so all greenery around and clouds covering the mountains was such a pleasant view.
Just make sure that you travel with your own car / taxi so the local commute is easier. Places you can visit Tehri Dam / Surkanda Devi Temple / Eco park / Kanatal etc

Nestled among cool serene enviornment tall deodar trees, majestic view of snow covered Himalayan peaks. You will love the aroma in the air. Will recommend to include a hiking trip to majestic as Surkanda temple to have mesmerising 360 degree views of valley and hills. Eco park at Amber gate is a good option to relax and enjoy the nature with a variety of restaurant options in the neraby market.

I liked the mountain views, thats what one should expect to see in Dhanaulti. Mussourie and Landour are close by, one should always try to explore food in both these areas, especially the pancakes served at Annie's cafe at char dukan.
