We recently had the exceptional pleasure of experiencing a one-night stay at the Damodra desert camp. It was nothing short of a magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived, we were completely enveloped in the unique atmosphere and charm of the desert & camp site. The camp was tastefully arranged with a rustic charm that blended beautifully with the natural surroundings. The tents were spacious and comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities that ensured a comfortable stay without compromising the authentic desert experience. The warm, comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, and the little touches like lanterns and local decor added to the overall charm. The evening was a delightful affair, with the setting sun painting the desert in hues of vibrant orange and deep purple. After sunset, the traditional rajasthani music lit up the area, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The food was another highlight of our stay. The traditional cuisine served was both delicious and plentiful, offering an immersive taste of the local culture. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful specially Mr.Prithvi, always on their toes to ensure every guest was attended to. The star-lit sky provided a stunning backdrop for the night. With no light pollution, the view of the stars was truly breathtaking. Waking up to the serene morning desert view, with the soft golden light of dawn, was a sight to behold. The morning activities like camel riding and sandboarding were thrilling and gave us a true sense of desert adventure. In conclusion, the Damodra desert camp offers an unparalleled experience that combines adventure, culture, and tranquility. It's an ideal escape for those seeking a unique getaway, a night under the stars, and an intimate encounter with the desert's captivating beauty. We couldn't recommend it more. We left with beautiful memories and a deep appreciation for the Damodra desert camp.

Beautiful property. Personalised service. Excellent F&B. Overall a fantastic experience. 2 days seemed like just the right amount of time. Would love to go back again but with a larger group this time.

We stayed here for one night and it was worth value. We did camel and jeep safari from the camp itself. Evening snacks and dinner was served well. Staff is well mannered.Sunrise and sunset are the best part in sam sand dunes. Overall it was worth the experience.

We stayed there for one night. Staff and hospitality is amazing. Asfak and all staff were really friendly and amazing. Tents were very clean . Bed was comfortable . Food was amazing . I personally loved the tea. We did all three deserts . Overall an amazing experience . Must must visit and Best Camping in Jaisalmer. Would definitely recommend and Love to come back again

Best desert camp in Jaisalmer Desert This place is very nice and a comfortable and family like property to stay in.All the activities were good.

The Shama desert camp is actually in the golden sand of Jaisalmer dunes (Sam dunes). The stay is very cozy and warm, specially the warmth of the staff went out of the way to make it as comfortable and homely as possible. Nice place and ambiance for a comfortable stay. Keep it up all the very best
