Beautiful place with amazing views! Located in the middle of the tea plantations making it ideal for dreamy morning and evening walks (we enjoyed the 5 pm walk very much). Good food and breakfast.

Very courteous staff and the location is very close to SIMS part. It is great for people who enjoy hikes along the mountain roads and tea gardens. The breakfast options are good. Dinner and lunch are on order and are simple freshly home cooked meals. We loved our stay and the hospitality.

Coonoor is an awesome hilly town. Nature is at its best here. But many areas of the town are littered and not maintained clean. When will our people develop some civic sense and cleanliness and environmental awareness.

Only 2-3 place to see, very nice restaurants where you get south and north indian dishes esp Coonoor Junction was superb. Better to take your own Car to move around. Not to venture out at night time since there are no street lights.

Excellent place to get refreshing relax from the summer heat. Some good places to spend time, if you know where to go and you like outside walks.
Sims Park well worth to visit (better time - at the morning), and Bagaicha restorant is very good place to eat.

It is a beautiful and small town nested in the Nilgiris where you can spend a couple of days, a few more days, or even a week depending on your schedule, but whatever be the time frame it will not disappoint you at all!

The scenery around the location , room rent, room size and food are the main reasons we revisited the property the second time.
The approach road to this property can be tricky for some - if you can ignore this , I recommend all to go for it. if you're looking to spend quiet tranquil time, with a tea estate view. and great food.

Birdhouse is a great place for budget travellers. Would definitely recommend it. The view. The ambience. Lisa the dog. The books. The sit-out area. Meeting and chatting with fellow travelers. Connectivity to places of interest. Can order food via Swiggy. Helpful sightseeing suggestions from Prajwal and Lily. We hired Kabir's auto for a full day trip in and around Coonoor. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed every moment.
Coonoor is not the typical commercialized, very crowded touristy place. That is a blessing.
The panoramic view was very nice with large windows. The room was very spacious. The owner was helpful, giving us a lift back to the station which was kind of him. The breakfast was wonderful, hot and tasty Indian food. (Best we had in India). Location great for view and pleasant walk (quite long) to Coonoor and Park.
Lovely property. Felt more like a BnB and less of a hotel. Friendly staff. We loved the food. Freshly prepared and very tasty. The service is a bit slow but very friendly, they were very accommodative of our toddler's food requirements. We had a good stay and would love to return.
The view is one of the best in Coonoor. Food was delightful. Ranganathan was the most dedicated host and would attend to all our requests. The room was spacious and clean.
Decent place to stay if you have some work in Coonoor. The caretaker and the lady that comes in to cook are nice. Simple home cooked meals @ Rs. 200 per meal.
