Beautiful old mansion full of colors and character. Quaint, only 7 rooms. We spent hours on the roof top terrace. They give you blankets in the evening. You can lay down and enjoy the amazing view of the illuminated fort. It’s the most beautiful part of the fort next to the royal palace.

They arranged pickup from the train station at 12am with very little notice from our end at a reasonable price. Communication throughout our stay was exceptional. We only ate there once on our last night and were very happy with the taste and price. Akbar was very helpful throughout our stay, recommending places to visit, offering transportation if required, etc. They had live folk music playing at night which was nice. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views of the Jaisalmer fort.

Our stay at Desert Haveli was truly so easeful. On arrival we had someone in a tuktuk meet us at our bus stop and take us to the fort. Then a staff member met us to take us to the haveli. Our room was cosy with the comfiest bed I've had in India! With great Aircon and quiet room. Breakfast each day was prompt and delicious. Biggest thank you Vimal! What a legend. He took us to an incredible antiques shop and a textile place. Very helpful, attentive and wanted to ensure we had a great stay! Highly recommend a stay at Desert Haveli guest house!
