My stay at Iora Guest House was a highlight of my solo trip to India. Everything was excellent value. I stayed for 4 nights and rented a bike from Iora to explore Keloadeo Park. Devendra is a great naturalist and photographer and helped a great deal with my trip in addition to arranging a taxi to take me to Agra on the last day. The room was excellent with a large comfortable bed, large TV and spotless en-suite. Iora is about a 5-10 minute cycle from the gates of Keoladeo which came in very handy. The other staff are also very friendly and helpful.

The bird park is exceptional. So clean and a joy to be in. We saw sooooo many birds. Our guide Rinkesh was very knowledgeable and found so many birds for us. We also saw antelope, deer and a couple of jackal. We decided to walk and were up for the 06.00 opening. We covered about 10km on foot over 4 hours. Wear good shoes or boots if you are going to do this. Rinkesh carried a Japanese telescope with him which was just brilliant for the long distance birds. The plus on going in late April was that although the migratory birds were not there, the water was low so the wading birds were very close.

1 night stay to visit Bird sanctuary in the morning. We reached early in the morning to Bird Sanctuary - 730 AM and hence could chose good condition bicycles. We took a guide who was very knowledgeable and was with telescope and binoculars. We enjoyed cycling and lot of beautiful birds.
The entire property gives u the true ambience of nature and birds. Simplicity, humbleness and hardwork of the property handlers really deserves a hats off. Everyone greets with a friendly smile and Uncle ji, Mukesh bhaiya are kavery knowledgable.Homely food prepared by Chander bhaiya is delicious and of course little Myra is too cute. It's d best stay in Bharatpur one can find. Definitely recommending to my family and friends and Visiting it again soon !!
It was ticked in to the side of a village, about 20 mins away from Bharatpur. Near and tidy, though the ceiling of the room where we stayed does need a little looking into. The pool is a beautiful one exclusively for guests. The good and ambience are lovely.
The accomodation is very nice, good rooms, walkable distance from Bharatpur bird sanctuary. The owner is a very nice person, the food available inhouse is good and the rates are affordable.
