The staff was courteous and smiling. The food was excellent and had a touch of homely food. The Chef's preparations were mouth watering and tasty. The room was simple yet clean and hygienic and comfortable.The surrounding and environment around was serene... beautiful and lovely. The view from the room was nice. Would come back again for sure.

Location and property is worth all the money. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. As booking includes all three meals and it's a buffet, and the options were good. They were kind enough to make out-of menu food (Pongal) for my 2yr old kid.

Serenity of the surroundings, attentive staff and charming accomodations made this a restorative escape from the city. The Oma Signature massage was the perfect beginning to our stay. Arranging a jeep safari in the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve was easy through the reception staff here. Wildgrass restaurant offered a good variety of options, and the bar was a pleasant nook to start the evening. Perhaps our favorite times were spent sitting on the veranda overlooking the lake and listening to the birds.

The location is great, a very green resort next to a dense forest. We saw the giant indian squirrel and many deer on the plantation itself. Its a quiet resort with not too many guests. Great place to get away and be by ourselves. The staff are good, especially Mr. Rupesh who is most attentive and helpful. Cottage was spacious and good too, only no adequate stands in the bathroom to keep stuff. Food was good though there was no choice and not much variety.

The best part about Evolve Back was the care and attention provided by the entire team. From the management to the housekeeping personnel, courtesy, polite behavior, and helpfulness were genuinely palpable. Interacting with the chefs, naturalists, housekeeping staff, attendants, and boatmen was a delight. Their behavior and the feel they imparted at every step of our stay will be remembered and propagated for a long time!

Serai Kabini is an amazing place both for it beautiful cottages and facilities and for its fabulous staff whose hospitality is next level and whose warmth and professionalism make a stay here an absolute joy. My wife and I found Serai Kabini to be a genuine oasis in a sometimes hectic India. The views of the Kabini River, the resident mongoose or the family of monkeys just down the beach, the wonderful food with a huge variety of both Indian dishes to try for the first time and top notch western food options as well, a morning coffee and tea stand outside with a barista who really knew his stuff, the groundskeepers who were always excited to see us as we walked to and from our cottage, the warm campfire that awaited us in the evening if we wanted to enjoy a cocktail there, the excellent complimentary loaner binoculars for each safari, the free traditional coracle boat ride in an instant if you wanted one, the pride and professionalism of the safari staff organizers who made safaris a breeze and connected us with the best naturalists to ensure we saw the most wildlife – all of these are our memories of our stay here. Also a special shout out to Saleem, the front desk manager, who in response to an email from me saying we were likely to miss our first night because of a glitch in our travel plans, drove an hour to rescue us so that we would not miss the 6PM park road closing for the night. That kind of service and hospitality is very rare to find in the world these days! Do yourself a favor and stay at this small, wonderful place.
