We were extremely disappointed with the condition of Alibaug...
We were extremely disappointed with the condition of Alibaug Beach. The beach was very dirty, and the water was a murky black color. This made it impossible to enjoy swimming or even simply relaxing on the sand. My child was especially upset by the poor condition of the beach.

Nice place to spend 2 days, visit beaches and long forgotten...
Nice place to spend 2 days, visit beaches and long forgotten forts of Maharashtra. We visited Kulaba Fort which was some distance from the sea and to be reached by boat. Awesome view of the sea. Also Nagaon beach which was clean and unpopulated.

One should avoid going to Alibaug beach.
One should avoid going to Alibaug beach. It is crowded and dirty. Please visit Akshi beach, Revdandada beach and Nagaon beach as they are cleaner and not too many people venture there. You enjoy more privacy

Alibaug is so peaceful and beautiful I believe that for Bombay people this is the nearest door to heaven.my favorite spot is varsoli and Nagaon beach. because these two have breakfast stalls by the beach also other entertaining things. like, horse riding, water bike rides and can do Scooba diving. getting around alibaug is so easy and if it is not, people are so nice that they will make it easier for you. also for Bombay people, it is not that far and difficult, if you have your vehicle then it is easy for you, those who don't have their vehicle for them there are several buses and ferry's available. if you are a solo traveler like me waiting for the perfect moment to travel? It is here right now!”
