The staff who welcomed me was curteous and kind. I arrived early but they did their best to have my room ready for me as I arrived straight from the airport after a 12-hour flight. Room was clean and the view was great. I loved the proximity to the beach and the ammenities on site.

Great location, you have everything you need within a walking distance, beach, restaurants, ATM and supermarket. The bed was very comfortable and we were not disturbed by any noises. The host was very welcoming and attentive. Would defiantly come back

The apartment is very well maintained and looks newer, like it was recently renovated. It is on a smaller side, but this is what would get in Israel. For 1-2 nights, it would be plenty for 2-3 people (couple plus child). Even though we didn't go out, the area/location looks fantastic. Alon (the host) is very responsive and helpful
My family enjoyed the Philistine Museum. It's not large, but we enjoyed it. On the lower level, you can dress up like Philistines. Our kids (young and old) enjoyed sword fighting with the fake swords. And we took a family picture of the whole family dressed as Philistines.

There was ONE RIGHTEOUS person in this Sodom; a customer relations lady, who tried her best to help and assist, and I appreciated her very much.
The rest:
LOUD. No answer at front desk. Messy hallway. Pool too small for such a size of a hotel, hence too crowded and noisy; and not enough shade. Bar/lobby restaurant not good. Lazy and useless employees - the ones that I encountered. Loud late at night and very early morning. Food was mediocre at best, and not much of a variety; one “chef” in the evening was standing at his station frowning and reluctantly answering questions; but he was texting on his phone.
Cost was too high for this kind of experience.
For the time being, not really recommending.

We went without a car, and the options for kosher, child-friendly restaurants within walking distance of our hotel were few. Our hotel was just south of the port, and we tried to walk to the marina to take a boat ride -- I don't recommend that. We took a taxi back to the hotel - much better idea. The beaches were great, and the life guards were attentive. Overall, we were very happy and will go back.

The beaches are clean!
The beaches are clean!
The rent you pay for the beach- chairs and beds and umbrellas is practical for free! If you bring back your chairs etc. they give you most of the money back. This is subsidized by the municipality of Ashdod. You're expected to leave "your piece of land on the beach" clean!
Ice-cream, snacks, and even a bad towel can be bought for cost price.
You can even borrow a book to read!

Having the area with table and chairs with coffee, juice and snacks available at any time was really nice.
The location near the beach was perfect for us because we did not have a car.
We liked the small size of the hotel. very convenient not to have to take an elevator.
This hotel is perfectly clean and neat. It is quiet and the service is really GREAT! I would 100% come back if and when I can. We were perfectly satisfied and I hope they continue the polite service. That is very important and UNIQUE!
Location is the best thing about this hotel. Parking is always has some room. Housekeeping personnel (Philippine ladies) was always nice and maintained the room very clean.
