The town is so charming and just small enough to walk around in. Plenty of shopping and eateries, just about every type of food you can think of. It was like stepping into a Charles Dickens Novel, so cute and clean.

Westport is a gem of a place.
Westport is a gem of a place. Very well kept, tidy and clean with a lot of original character retained. Yes, it's touristy, but that's understandable given it's location. A lot of 'high end' shops with silly prices to match. Eating out, as in most of Ireland is well overpriced and is not good value. You will have to hunt for a good value evening meal.

A good hotel has good staff and they are excellent at this hotel. Every person we selat with was courteous and approachable. A credit to themselves and to the venue.
A much-appreciated and quite unusual touch was having glasses of iced water available in a tray at reception for guests returning late at night from the town.
The location is excellent.
A beautiful house and very comfortable. Martha is a great host who gave lots of good information.
We got free access to the leisure center in a local hotel because we were guests.
The house is close to town with a lovely walk along the greenway.
Martha does a very nice continental breakfast (with gluten free options).
The location was great, right on the harbor. It was about a mile walk into town, but there were plenty of food and drink options near by the hotel. We had an view of the bay from our room, it was lovely. The room was large and offered a little sofa as well. Checking in was smooth and we had no issues.
Nice hotel located centrally in the Octagon in lovely Westport. Great for visiting the West Coast of Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Highway. Good facilities, and a nice Restaurant, Brasserie and Bar all on site!
