The ambiance of the porch at night with lights was charming. We arrived late (after 10), and yet our hostess stayed up and greeted us. She was SO accommodating. Also, the close proximity of the Jenkinstown Wood park was a plus.
With Medieval Kilkenny as a backdrop, this 18th century hotel is located in a cultural and artistic hot spot. The main shopping area is only 2 minutes away.

The setting is stunning.
The setting is stunning. The cabins well kept and supplied with all you need. The cabins are close, the second night our neighbours that just arrived on our second day didn’t appreciate how close they were and stayed up late drinking and playing music which was a little frustrating. Very dog friendly we had our two dogs with us and they were safe and secure

Loved everything about it and planning our next trip there hopefully in August for a few more days as it was sooo beautiful and unique ❤️. Dog friendly which was a big plus for us as we wanted them to come on hols with us, so it was perfect. Our hosts Caroline and Karima were so welcoming and warm to us, they were the perfect hosts. Great walks for dog lovers too ☺️.

A little slice of heaven away from the hum- drum of everyday life. Although we only stayed one night, it felt like a lot longer as the tranquility and slow pace of life does much for the senses!!
Could not recommend this little oasis more highly - Caroline & Karima were exceptional hosts. Can't wait to visit again next month!!
