Clean, secure and nice facility.
Out of the way a little but we quickly learned how to use the tram.
Just 8.1 mi from the center of Dublin, Glashaus Hotel in Tallaght features impressive modern styling and offers all-day dining in the Café Bar.

Housekeeping does not get to rooms early enough to clean. Once I was missed completely, the other wanted to come in at 16:00. I had a zoom meeting so wasn't possible. They simply shrugged shoulders and said "well it's a big hotel" Unacceptable

It was inexpensive for Dublin and everything was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to many of the sites (we walked everywhere) but there is a Dublin Express bus stop right around the corner. There is construction around - which is no fault of the staff that begins at 07ish at the moment.
Overlooking the Grand Canal in Dublin 2, Clayton Hotel Charlemont features a shared lounge, Red Bean Roastery, Lockside Bar/Social and Gaudens Restaurant. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from St.

Room 003 - bed had a dip in the middle. Mattress needs replacing. Shower was warm only - not hot.
Location - great for our needs.
Breakfast - Good selection/choice
Beautiful hotel, modern, clean and tidy! Perfect room facilities, hotel bar and restaurant was lovely very friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast on the morning was worth every penny and more, the selection of warm and cold food and drinks was perfect, filling and tastes so good!
There isn’t much around the hotel in regard to pubs however taxis/ubers easy accessible, 15/20 drive to the city. Short travel from and to the airport. There is a McDonald’s behind the hotel, however opted for proper cooked food within the hotel which again perfect! There is a shopping centre not far from the hotel. With a small shop behind also.
I would happily use this hotel again when visiting Dublin

Fantastic view of Dublin mountains from room windows.
Fantastic view of Dublin mountains from room windows. Great shopping in and around the Square. Very good choice of eating/drinking establishments, except of course if you have allergens such as gluten intoleration or other allergies in which case you might have to go walkabout. Easy access to public transport to just about anywhere in Dublin.

Every thing in the room was nonfunctional, water hearing kettle leaked and water was all over the place on carpet. There was no toiletries in the bathroom. Staff was nice.
They could not accommodate us earlier than the check in time. After a long flight, we had to waste our whole day

Reception was great, genial & professional & fast .
Reception was great, genial & professional & fast .Once I had my key I went to my room on the 3rd Floor by lift.Took me a moment to find the room as the room numbers were inadvertently hidden by a giant sized potted banana plant, beautiful plant. My room was generous given I was solo two beds, the double I used, sleeping like a babe on both nights of my stay. The bathroom was exceptional, large & well-fitted with safety features for both toilet, sink area & shower unit.Non-slip throughout & spotless.

Fantastic hotel. The room was beautiful and very comfortable.
Spotless and clean. Best 4 star hotel I have stayed in.
Breakfast was out of this world. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend. Will stay again when in Dublin.
Everything , the hotel reception, the staff, the nice atmosphere there. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy. The food including breakfast is top class. Its a lovely hotel and should be in the top 10 hotels in South Dublin tk stay
We stayed in spacious family room, nice bathroom. Had a quick drink in the bar area (didn’t try the food). Hotel is great location for the Lucas tram in to Dublin centre which takes about 40 minutes. Free parking.
The location suited me, I was going to an event in Tallaght Leisure Centre. However the location is close to Tallaght Square and the Luas into Dublin. The WiFi was free and easy to get connected.
