Location was amazing, directly across from the beach and lovely to go for a walk or sea swim, we stayed here and walked to the armada for a wedding which is only 5 mins up the road, staff were so so friendly and the breakfast was delicious!

Situated in Miltown Malbay, within 2.9 km of Spanish Point Beach and 22 km of Cliffs of Moher, Michael A's Pub provides free WiFi throughout the property.
Very cute town, and near to other fun spots. Good walking in the area. I was there for a wedding and used Spanish Point as my home basis while I toured around the area. There didn't seem to be too much to do right there though.

Speaking as someone who went during the off season and in terrible weather, i loved it. The beach is amazing and the history behind it was great to discover while there. (the sun was out in the photos, but it was about 50kmph winds every day lol)

It was a staging post for us but is a very pleasant area. The West coast is so beautiful and this area is no different. I would say perhaps more family friendly as beach was big and sea easy to swim in

We went for a sea view suite which was a little extra but worth it. The room was fantastic with a bath in the middle of the room and a fabulous view out to sea. A four poster bed and a small living area with a electric fire. Along with this the room had a separate bath and shower room, a separate WC and a small walk in wardrobe. The hotel itself was lovely and the food was great. I would stay here again anytime and would still pay the little extra for such a lovely room.

Coast Lodge was busy during our stay, there was a great buzz and atmosphere about the place. The family room was very spacious, clean and lots of storage. Breakfast was tasty. Any staff members we encountered were friendly, helpful and polite. Ideal location directly across from Spanish Point beach, weather was glorious which was a plus. We will be back.
Great location, five minutes drive from Spanish point and about 15 to Clifs.Very comfortable beds upstairs and entertainment for whole family on the ground floor.
Our dog loved it, too.
