The Park Inn is right next to the Shannon Airport. We were able to drop off our rental car the day before we flew out. We had an early morning flight and could just walk a short distance (less than 5 minutes) to the airport. Beds were comfortable. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good shower with good water pressure. There was a rain head and a hand held head in the shower.

Such a lovely location! I felt like I was a queen staying here. The breakfast was amazing and everything was homemade! The owner was so sweet and kind!

Very nice rooms very friendly owners. Not far from Bunratty castle. Good free on site parking. Good breakfast. They take your order when you get there. If you don’t want to a full Irish breakfast you can have yogurt, toast, fresh fruit etc.
The Bunratty Mews is located just 5 minutes from Bunratty village, Durty Nelly’s and Bunratty Castle. It offers rooms with bathtubs and showers free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Shannon airport is a hidden gem of a flying experience.
Shannon airport is a hidden gem of a flying experience. I highly recommend you use Shannon as your airport, especially for a holiday on Ireland's west coast. If you don't want to drive, it is well connected via bus to Galway or to Limerick, which has connections to everywhere else in Ireland via bus and train. If you do want to drive, you probably don't want to stay right in Shannon, but there is something for everyone nearby.

Airport is so efficient and staff are professional .Security is done so efficiently, a really painless experience and so much better that other airports. The local road system is a joy and well signposted. Our stay at Oakwood hotel was just lovely and staff were really great, always available and ultra helpful. The hotel was peaceful, comfortable and food of excellent quality.

We flew in to Shannon from London & used it as jumping off point to other areas in & south of Shannon. Convenient location. People we encountered were very friendly there, & really everywhere we went over our 4 days on the island.

We very much enjoyed are stay in are accommodation near Shannon Airport, we wasn't expecting it to be so lovely at Carrygerry Country House Hotel. It only took 12 minutes to drive to it from the airport and nicely welcomed at the door by Gillian and shown to are room.

We were flying out of Shannon Airport so travelled up from Cork and stayed overnight at Treacys Oakwood Hotel, beautiful hotel with beautiful staff, I cannot fault it at all, we left out cars at the hotel and got a taxi to the airport.. talk about comfort!!. We have been spoilt.
Lovely rooms, tasteful with everything we needed. Loved the stylish mineral water bottles left out for us. The beds were super comfy, I don't often sleep well in hotel beds but did at Shannon Springs. Good breakfast selection and enjoyed the omelettes ordered. Really convenient for the airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I wanted to eat in my room, and they cheerfully carried the tray up to my room !
If you stay at the hotel, and then leave your car while you are away .....parking is cheaper than the airport parking and you are right next to the airport ! Bargain !
My cousin stayed there the night before she left from airport to U.S.A. . She said it was very comfortable and homely and is in an ideal location for an early flight our from Shannon.
