The food was fresh and healthy. I over slept my breakfast time but the kitchen sent up food to my room, which the housekeeping suggested I ask about. The housekeeping people were super helpful.
The shuttle driver got the door open to the luggage room for so I could make the shuttle on time.
Small tho gs that made a difference for me.
The park across the street was a joy to be in- sequoia trees!

The staff and the food where amazing
Best breakfast in town
Great place to stop, both to relax, but also visit the city.
Great place to stop, both to relax, but also visit the city. Although a few miles from Dublin centre, very regular buses take you from right outside the hotel to Dublin centre. The cost, just over 2 (two) euros. Alternatively, the beach is more or less, just across the road from the hotel. The next small pretty town Malahide can be accessed either by foot, bus or road.

Portmarnock itself beautiful. Safe beach, great walk between Portmarnock and Malahide and great golf. Can recommend Lali’s local restaurant, Jameson’s bar at the Portmarnock hotel and Malahide for bars, restaurants and retail therapy

Lovely walks along the coast, neighbouring Malahide is about a 40 minute walk where there are many great bars and restaurants. Great golf courses in Portmarnock, restaurant & bar options are limited.

We stayed here to be close to the airport because we had an early AM departure. It was an easy 15 min drive to DUB via back roads. The hotel was fabulous, the ocean views were spectacular and the room was very clean.

Fantastic location on a beautiful wide beach with wonderful walking possibilities eg 45 minutes to Malahide on coastal promenade, also great walks from Howth on headland in opposite direction, choice of 6k, 7k and 11k walks. Howth itself is a pretty fishing village with lots of fresh fish for sale and restaurants around the harbour area. Malahide Castle also a short drive with its lovely grounds and Avoca restaurant. Also a great value hotel with lots of quality and service for the money. Reception staff really helpful and breakfast super. Golf course is beautiful, quite expensive but deals available on the hotel’s website. I think the hotel would be more expensive if it had a pool and maybe tennis courts. But the beach on your doorstep makes up if the weather is good. Highly recommend, 9.5 out of 10

The location of the hotel is a significant benefit; The advantage of being so convenient to Malahide in one direction and Howth in another direction provides for additional options. The quality of meals was excellent despite the restrictions posed by the ongoing pandemic (Covid 19).
From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by Brian the concierge, the staff were so willing to help us in any way we needed. Restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel was very clean and modern unlike a lot of hotels we have stayed in in Ireland that just get a lick of fresh paint and have poor facilities. We had a lovely room facing the Irish Sea and walked on the beach both days we were there .. excellent location.
Will come back and stay next time we are over from Australia.
We picked this place last minute because the hotel we had booked cancelled us due to the Ukranian refugees. Therefore this was a last minute booking NO CHOICE
I just would state it was better than sleeping in the car
Barely any restaurants around area
Restaurant in hotel was closed due to ?? No breakfast supplied . After 5 weeks in Ireland first hotel no Breakfast
We were delighted with the hotel. We got a complimentary upgrade which was a lovely surprise.
Water + Chocolates in the room was such a lovely touch.
The room was great, fab sea view and the bed was so comfortable.
The breakfast was really good, lots of choice for all dietary needs.
