The breakfast had a wide selection of food. The staff in the breakfast room were very attentive to our requests.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was good and yummy. Price was reasonable.
The size of the room is good and the bed is comfortable.

Very comfy and had everything that we needed. We were able to barbeque our dinner and lots of room to even sit out side and relax at the picnic table. Very close to the airport and bus station.

Location was great, right in town so we could walk to shops, pubs, restaurants. Also close enough that we drove the Ring of Kerry one day and Dingle Peninsula another. (We are early starters and didn't mind the hour drive to Dingle to begin the Slea Head loop.) Staff was friendly, live music at the pub, room was clean, and we had a comfy place to lay our heads each night after a day of exploring, and coffee in the room while we got ready for the day.
The Fairview is located in the heart of Killarney's town center. This 4-star, boutique hotel features spacious rooms with free WiFi, private bathrooms and hearty, Irish breakfasts.
This friendly and relaxed hotel has superb views of Killarney's Lower Lake and MacGillicuddy Reeks. It is a gateway to the Ring of Kerry on the shores of Loch Lein.

Beautiful property in an excellent location and the owners were wonderful people. The cook to order breakfast was superb.
Sad, sad place 20 min outside of Killarney. There is nothing to see, eat or do. A few cute pubs, as often many restaurants close at 5 / 5:30 pm, most stores as well. Don’t go to the cave, it’s a rip off, the whole place is depressing.

We didn't see much as we arrived about 8pm and left early.
We didn't see much as we arrived about 8pm and left early. We did have a short walk , but it wasn't enough to take a good look around. There were alot of shops and the hotel was on the main street

I think the town is struggling. Few good pubs.
I think the town is struggling. Few good pubs. Couple of boutiques and shoe shops. Food in the River Island Hotel is very good. There is no other place to eat as far I could see after 6pm in the town. There are restaurants open during the day.

Castleisland is a great place to stay whether just passing through or touring Co Kerry. It is very close to Killarney, Tralee etc but much better value for money with regard to accommodation. There is a good atmosphere in the local bars and restaurant, without the crowds of the larger towns.
The property has B&B rooms that are good hotel standard, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast menu is very comprehensive and the food is delicious. The host and his family are welcoming, genuine people, for whom nothing is too much trouble. The property is set in a beautiful garden, and perfectly located for touring Kerry and surrounding counties.
Location was perfect for us. 15 min drive to Tralee and Castleisland had everything we need for the week. House was beautiful and well kept. The hosts were very well organised and we had everything we needed.
Beautiful Hotel with beautiful friendly staff. Everybody was so helpful. Staff offered you help before you thought you needed it. Food was yummy and no long wait.
