Incredibly beautiful hotel with wonderful food and amenities. The staff was fantastic throughout our stay. Highly highly recommend the falconry (amazing experience!) and dinner in the Pullman restaurant, which was one of the best meals I've ever had. There was so much to do - we missed out on seeing a movie in the hotel cinema because we just didn't have time, and there were a range of activities we'd love to come back and try. Lovely resort in a lovely part of Ireland.
Overlooking the famous Salthill Promenade, Galway Bay and the Clare Hills, this elegant hotel features a 25-metre swimming pool, a whirlpool, and a large gym.

Very reasonable and accommodating staff. Clean and cosy rooms with extremely cofortable beds. Great grub, with the staff there to get anything you needed... and a lovely pint. One of the real stand out items of our stay was the entertainment from local musicians each night, which was really relaxing and entertaining.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast after having had an evening meal on the eve of our arrival. There was such a vast choice for both sittings, with our sincere thanks to the chef/s & staff too as the service was also superb. The over-all hospitality at The Twelve was fabulous from start to finish and we would definitely return in the future. Highly recommend, too.

Great location within easy walking distance of both the centre and Salthill. Lovely old school, small hotel that feels like from another era, but perfectly clean and with everything you need. The pub downstairs is popular with the locals - always a good sign!

My brother & I were there for a funeral.
My purse was 'lifted' from the room 208 whilst I was at a funeral. We had checked out - just before funeral mass - and when I realised that the purse should still have been in the drawer in the room (after cleaner had been in) I telephoned. I was told - no purse. Shocked I asked if I could check. Sure enough drawer still contained the bagged hairdryer whose position had changed (now centre of drawer) but Mulberry purse had 'disappeared'
My parents loved this hotel. So disappointing

This accommodation is excellent.
This accommodation is excellent. Location is stunning, room was as shown on the website, very clean and view from room was a bonus. Having restaurant and bar facilities on site was a plus since we did not need to travel out for dinner. Would definately recommend it for a short visit and plan to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. This is a nice location, not far from Barna or Galway city. Most of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, particularly the bar staff who were very kind to our little girl each time we ate there (providing colouring etc.) The hotel has good facilities for a family - small playground and a pool with a shallow end for toddlers. The breakfast was very nice and had a good selection.
The location by the sea is beautiful. The rooms were clean and tidy and quite well isolated for irish standards. The staff at the restaurant (which doubles as hotel staff) was very helpful.
