Loved the location and the views from the house were exceptional. Really enjoyed the space in this house- we are a family of five and our children had plenty of room to relax in. Each bedroom is a very good size. Has a lovely authentic country house feel to it. Big shout out to our host Bridget who sorted out any issues very quickly. I really can’t thank her enough for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely come back.

We loved our Castle room, the staff and service couldn't have been better. We were more than satisfied with all of our meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner ending with sticky toffee pudding and Irish coffee) The gardens were also spectacular!!
We stayed in 7 different accommodation locations during our 2 weeks in Ireland and Northern Ireland and Ballygally Castle Hotel was by far our favorite.

Mallow a good place to base yourself if doing a touring...
Mallow a good place to base yourself if doing a touring holiday in Co.Cork. Train station gives good access to Cork city. Blarney Castle only 20minutes away by road . Also a short road trip to Charville. Mallow Town Park is a hidden gem, well worth spending time exploring it!

I had lunch at the hotel one day and breakfast the next morning. For my evening meal I visited my neice and her family in Ballyclough.

We had a great time in Mallow staying at Shirins place! The hosts are super welcoming and try to do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible! Also the cat Lucy is extremely cute and cuddly! So overall we had some great days in Mallow.
