Location was perfect as I was staying the night before a work event in Carndonagh. It was great to be so near and to have a >5 min drive to the event the following morning. The host was friendly and helpful and got me checked-in immediately upon arrival. Room and bedding was stylish, spotless and comfortable. Felt just like I was staying in a hotel. I would definitely be hoping to book in again if I come back to the area.

Lovely little village, gorgeous costal drive to Malin Head.
Lovely little village, gorgeous costal drive to Malin Head. Close to Culdaff beach and Five Finger Strand which are both beautiful. Wild Alpacha Way is also very close and is a fantastic day out for families run by a lovely local farming family.

Wow and wow again on the stunning scenery .
Wow and wow again on the stunning scenery . However don't expect to venture to the tip of the Malin Head, it was fenced off and private property signs were visible . But you still get close enough to take fabulous photos.

I enjoyed my two-night stay in the Red Gate House B & B. Daniel and Tina were great hosts. The large en-suite room was spotless with large windows facing the lawns and gardens at the front entrance. The bed was comfortable. Tina cooked a lovely Full Irish breakfast. The location is very suitable for those looking for accommodation on the Malin Head peninsula, with access to nearby areas for water sports in Culdaff, Kinnagoe Bay and White Strand Bay, to suggest a few.
The cottage was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our weeks stay, situated in a lovely quiet area with plenty of privacy. It is very close to Malin head and we used it as a base to tour around and everywhere was easy to get to from there. Thomas was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area - thank you for the tip about viewing the Doagh Family Village, well worth a trip and we really enjoyed it.
Beautiful house in excellent location. Wilson was an excellent host, great attention to detail in the rooms, comfortable bed and amazing pillows. Breakfast was superb, as good as any 4+ Star hotel we’ve stayed in. Can thoroughly recommend.
This is a unique, family-run small hotel with friendly staff where you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. The decor is quirky and interesting. Bar food was delicious too.
