We stayed here for 2 nights and what can I say, as soon as we walked in the place was spotless. We were left some lovely treats on arrival. The apartment is stunning so clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable. It is in a prime location with a SuperValu across the road and a couple of minutes walk to the centre. It looks out over the racecourse, I can’t recommend this place enough. It has everything you need and definitely exceeds expectations. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Right next door to the hotel where we were attending a wedding, parking right outside the door, rang & were met with 5 minutes to check in, spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable bed, plus the host allowed us a late checkout

We have visited Listowel on many occasions before and find it a pleasant market town with some nice shops and friendly locals. This holiday we spent more time in Ballybunnion and Tralee. Ballybunnion has a great beach and also a leisure centre with swimming pool which is easily accessible. Tralee is a big town with a great leisure centre like an indoor Aquapark and Kerry Museum and Siamsa Tire - National Folk Theatre for Ireland, that hosts cultural events and traditional Irish Dancing. Listowel is 10 minute drive, Ballybunnion is 15 minutes drive from Baker's Cross and Tralee is a half hour drive.

Listowel is a lovely town with great outdoor recreational facilities and a strong history of celebrating literature and writers. It is a good base from high to explore northwest Kerry, from the Dingle Peninsula to Ballybunion and Foynes, where transatlantic flying boats used to land. For those unused to Irish roads and streets there are the challenges of driving on the left hand side and some tight turns and through ways, but that’s no different than driving anywhere in Ireland. I like the fact that it is not a town that gets inundated with tourists. The food at the Listowel Arms was excellent, as is the Horseshoe Bar. Woulfe’ s bookshop is worth a browse and the risk of leaving with several purchases. The greenway is a fabulous community resource.

Very well situated town to explore south and west Ireland.
Very well situated town to explore south and west Ireland. It has lots of facilities and pubs with live music. And a nice river to walk along it. It is surrounded by countryside. It's a clean place too. There's a very nice hotel, the only one in the area where you can eat and have a drink.
You can easily walk around the town. And the castle! Although quite destroyed, still good to visit and hear about its history.
Honestly everything. If you’re in the Listowel area working in KG perhaps. This is THE best digs in the town or anywhere near. Your host is the best. The property is warm, modern, and has a great home touch and decoration. I travel Ireland a lot and this is probably my favourite place to stay.
Derry house is like a show home! The beds are the best I’ve ever slept in. the hosts Betty & John are very welcoming. The location is ideal, very quiet but still central to Listowel. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living areas are very comfortable. You won’t want to leave.
The apartment was clean & comfortably and only 4 minutes walk to the centre of the listowel. Free parking & plenty of places to get groceries. The host was very friendly & helpful.
Well equipped spacious apartment, walking distance from the centre of Listowel.
Super Value shop across the road.
The host Eleanor was responsive and helpful.
