Aiteall Boutique Accommodation, hotel in Liscannor

Perfect BnB for your cliffs of moher adventure. This BnB has 3 rooms so it's quiet, cozy and well maintained. Run by a young husband and wife with their two kiddos it's clearly a labor of love. Every detail is thought through - from the light blocking curtains, a window in the bathroom, custom built in open wardrobe and desk and a smart TV for casting your favourite show after a long day out in the national park. The pictures don't even do it justice. We've been staying at bnbs across Ireland and this takes one of the top spots. The place is super clean, modern and spacious. The living room pics you see in other reviews is a communal space for all to use including plenty of tea, coffee and access to a small fridge. The wall sized windows allow for lots of natural light. Ample parking and the bed was like a US Queen for the Americans visiting. Extra pillows were given in the room too. Also loved how sustainable the place was without cutting corners (compost, full sized toiletries, cloth napkins, no plastic on site, etc). Breakfast was light but nice - there was a small cheese plate, cereal, milk, juices, fresh cut fruit and whole fruit, fresh cut veg, toast and butter, overnight oats, pain chocolat... Two small pieces of feedback to an otherwise PERFECT stay: Only wish there was maybe some hard boiled eggs or meats at breakfast for some added protein. And a small shelf in the shower for our own toiletries. Would definitely stay here again. Very accessible to the cliffs and national park. The hosts were absolutely lovely and readily available during breakfast time from 8-10 am for questions.

I had a great stay for one night at the Hotel Doolin. The location, at the beginning of the Main Street is ideal. The room was spacious and modern. The hotel has a restaurant/bar (Fitz’s) attached that has live music at night. The breakfast (included) was spectacular. I’d highly recommend

    Liscannor is a perfect spot.

Liscannor is a perfect spot. Everything is on your doorstep and is somewhat quieter then Lahimch. There are a few bars and places to eat but there is nothing better to just sit down and enjoy a few pints with the most friendly people after a day of walking over the magnificent Cliffs on Moher or indeed any of the other major attractions in Clare

The Cottage was cozy, we had a slight mishap with getting into the cottage on arrival, but within half an hour we were helped into the cottage. You get glimpses of the stunning ocean view from the kitchen and upstairs. The sliding door needs a little attention as it was very difficult to open, to such an extent that we just used the other door. The 2 rooms are cozy and spacious, not much room for clothing though and the wardropes was a little wobbly, as it would keep falling of the rails when you open them. There is only 1 shower and toilet in the cottage, on the ground floor, which is not great for going to the toilet at night, so just a heads-up for the elderly or folks with younger kids. The overall layout is very clever and neat. It was spotless and very cozy, once you left the property you have breathtaking views of the ocean. No shops or amenities that we could find that is in short walking distance, but close enough to get to with a car. Very quick to get to the cliffs of moher, which was the highlight of the trip, unfortunately the weather was not very pleasant, but still worth the trip. Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Liscannor is a small village with a a couple of Pubs and of course the Anchor Inn - a great place to stay and eat. It is an ideal base to explore Clare and to visit nearby Lahinch and of course the Cliffs of Moher. We had the bikes and cycling in the area is relatively safe and a great way to see the local scenery. The Rock Shop is well worth a visit for either gifts or a coffee and snack.

Liscannor is very convenient for the Cliffs of Moher.

Liscannor is very convenient for the Cliffs of Moher. You can start a cliff walk from there or go to Geuiran’s Path for a shorter walk. €5 per adult entry to the car park is excellent value. Have coffee in the Rock cafe after. Fabulous food and location.

Liscannor is a lovely little spot .

Liscannor is a lovely little spot . We had lunch in hotel and it was lovely. Covid restrictions in place .petrol station had no sanitisers but staff were lovely . The public house beside where we stayed Joseph mchugh is a disaster. No social distancing at all for the locals . They stand at the bar drinking and no a sign of a toasted sandwich. Did not feel safe in there at all . Finished our food and left . We were refused a drink during to restrictions but the locals drank like a normal Saturday night . No masks on staff after 10 30 . This place lowers the tone of a beautiful place . The best place to eat is Vaughan anchor Inn. Omg fine dining in an amazing setting. Covid rules adhered to %100 . Food was amazing and staff very helpful.

A very quirky but really spacious and well-appointed apartment. 'Eclectic' might be the word! I could see it not being to everyone's taste, but the photos are fairly accurate and speaking for ourselves, we loved it. Large, comfortable bed. We ate dinner both nights at the Cliffs of Moher Hotel which I'd heartily recommend - relaxed but not noisy, service friendly and prompt, and excellent food both nights.
