First and foremost, Sharon at reception was exceptional—by far the most accommodating, polite, friendly, and helpful staff member I've encountered in any hotel.
The breakfast was excellent, and as a Coeliac, I was particularly impressed by how the breakfast staff went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs.
The room itself was spotless, cozy, and welcoming, offering a perfect retreat after a day out. The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again

Location was great that's about all. We stayed at 'The Falls', 'The Carrygerry Country House', the Old Ground Hotel, the Markree Castle and the Falls Hotel. I would give all of them a five star rating as they were far superior to our experience here.

We thought the city was very run-down and the amount of homeless/ people begging e.g. young people was very high.
We eat in Maldron Hotel, Vincenzos and Marco Polo`s and would rate them `good`.
Limerick city was easy to get around but were disappointed at lack of places of interest that were closed e.g.Hunt Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral !

I liked the Harvey's Quay area.
I liked the Harvey's Quay area. Lively and got feeling from restaurant/bar I visited there "House Limerick" that they were really trying to provide good food and service to their customers. A compact city so it is possible to get around it in a few days. Very nice city to walk around, especially if the sun is shining!

Some very nice walks, however most walks available are a good drive away. Limerick could far better use the resources it has to better effect, particularly in creating more up and downstream walks, or making water activities more accessible.
It was sad to see that some of the ugly features that drove us from Dublin (open shoplifting and begging) have reached Limerick, albeit to a far smaller scale.
Don't bother trying to visit Thomond Park unless it's a match day as they do not open.

It's a nice city to stay in for a couple of days.
It's a nice city to stay in for a couple of days. It's better to do it over the weekend so that you can visit the local milk market and King John's castle. A half-day walk around the city, a half-day for the castle, and a couple of hours (in the morning!) for the milk market.

Limerick is a beautiful city to walk around and look at the buildings, castle etc. Plenty of places to eat not much shopping in the city centre but a bus can be taken to the cresent shopping center about 20 mins away

Although there was no breakfast (or other meals) provided, there was a kitchen/dining area shared between 4 rooms, which had kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, fridge, etc, so it was easy to make my own breakfast. My room was comfortable and clean, and had a good shower room and a TV with a good variety of English language channels.
It was close to a bus stop with good services to both Limerick city centre and also to Dublin. The main campus of the University of Limerick is just a few minutes walk away.
It's student accommodation that runs as a hostel/hotel in summer. Basic enough room (single bed, sink in room, shared bathrooms) but clean. About a 20-minute walk from city centre. Great value compared with other hotels the night I stayed. There is a kitchen and fridge space if needed. Breakfast available but didn't try it.
The hotel employees were very nice and hospitable. The room was perfect and clean, the hotel is in a great location in Limerick city with excellent parking facility. The leisure centre was also friendly and nice!
