We booked a junior suite as we got married the day before and wanted to treat ourselves. When we got to the hotel the lovely lady at reception Ann Marie, greeted us with the warmest welcome and congratulations and informed that we had been upgraded to the bridal suite. Such a lovely touch and it was exactly what we needed. Thank you so much

Court Yard Hotel, hotel in Leixlip

Built where Arthur Guinness created his brewing empire, Court Yard Hotel is a unique, historic hotel, a short drive from Dublin International Airport and city centre.

All was very good and if staying in warmer times of year the outdoor courtyard area would offer a great place to relax. I would suggest that bottled water is needed in the bedroom as the mixer tap system is difficult to adjust to drinking water temperature. We would choose to stay here again.

Natives very friendly. Great walks and places of nterested. Good service in local bar - Salmon leap. Also St Mary's GAA facility bar and entertainment very good. Where we stayed staff not welcoming or helpful. No communication. Weather bad but nothing can be done about that.

Leixlip is a small town, very friendly but Leixlip Manor was not up to scratch. We found a nice restaurant in Leixlip as the Leixlip Manor had no food for evening meal although we were advised it had. It was very disappointing, We were thankful we only stayed one night.

The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly receptionist that greeted us. The hotel is horrendouse. I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here and highly advise to consider alternative accommodation if you are considering staying here.

Hotel is in great location for liffey valley shopping centre. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good and evening dinner was good. Down side was bathroom shower hose sprayed out water went out onto floor. The sink stopper didn't work and also the toilet didn't flush very well. Had to put curtains up on window sill so the heat of radiator could get out.

Pretty little Irish village just outside Dublin iwth strong links to the Guinness family. Lovely walks along the river Liffey and countryside with plenty of pubs and dining options. Only 1/2 an hour by car from the airport, ferry terminals and Dublin City. 2 train stations with journey to Dublin also about 1/2 an hour and good value plus decent bus services. Liffey Valley shopping complex is also nearby. Overall providees the best of both worlds for a city/country stay

Grainne saved my life that day, mine and my tourist's too!;) We had no rooms to stay at the nearby hotel, and I found her place which is located in the same district - I love Leixlip neighborhood, it's nice and peaceful there, far away from Dublin crowd!:) And so was the lodge! Apart from that, as I had no place to go, Grainne let me stay - as she had no more apartments available - at her own house! Amazing hospitality!:))

The hotel is situated in a beautiful park on the outskirts of Dublin. There is a lovely Victorian garden. My bedroom was in the courtyard where the former stables and staff accommodation have been transformed into bedrooms.
