We had a wonderful stay. The home was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Communication with the owner was excellent—quick, friendly, and very responsive to any questions we had. The hotel is located in a quiet small town. On front and at one side there is car parking. The backs of older houses form a third boundary and the river flows along the fourth. It is a well run hotel with evidence of effort to make the guests experience a pleasant one. From Reception to the dining room the staff were very pleasant and most helpful. There were lots of flowers in the lobby area. Our room was bright spacious and comfortable with very nice linen. The bathroom had a freestanding bath.
The hotel was spotless The fresh flowers in the reception area were fantastic and we're changed while we were there beautiful arrangements ...and flowers on each floor on a wee table ...rooms were big and spacious as was the bathroom ....we ate in the dinning room two nights of our stay on one of the nights we had a party of 37 and everyone was served promptly and the food was tasty and delicious would highly recommend this hotel
Bar staff were friendly, food was good, beautiful hotel, very busy but really disappointing that on and very busy Saturday night in summer time there wasn't any live music or no music in the background on radio or anything so that was disappointing but overall lovely hotel and definitely be back
