This is a true guesthouse, visitors are welcome guests in a private home, and the host is attentive and generous with his hospitality, happy to offer suggestions on visits, restaurants, and other practical information. The parking was ample, the sitting room cosy, especially since the host would be happy to lay out a fire in the marble fireplace. My room was large and my dog was welcome. I highly recommend this place as a base for excursions to most of Ireland due to the flexibility of the host and excellent access to the major motorways.

Unfortunately our stay was cancelled mid-afternnon of the day we were due to arrive.
Apparently the cottage was double-booked & we drew the short straw.

The location was perfect. Out in the countryside in the mews of an old Georgian mansion. The bed was comfortable which was a big plus. Had all the facilities needed to self cater.

Booked Bed & Breakfast, but also had dinner here. Breakfast was a reasonable choice, and the staff were very helpful.
The dinner options could have given a wider variety.
