Cabra Castle Hotel, hotel in Kingscourt

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking.

The room was big and spacious. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff, with the exception of one highly stressed woman at breakfast, were excellent. Loved the bathtub in the room, as did my wife.

The bed was very comfortable - firm, i slept like a log. The shower in the morning was excellent. Breakfast was superb at only €10 extra and our host, Kathleen, was very attentive and nicely chatty.

This is a scam! The people in Kingscourt were of great help to find me a hotel at 10pm. I ended up in Cabra Castle, way more expensive, but worth the money. Go there if you can.

The B&B is within walking distance to Kingscourt and a short drive to Cabra Castle where we were attending a wedding the next day.
