The Dairy Lodge is a holiday home set at the foot of the Ballyhoura mountains. The property is 22 mi from Limerick, 40 mi from Cork and only 52 mi from Killarney, Co. Kerry.

Very nice family, chickens in yard really give you sense of a working farm. Near Tipperary and we recommend walks is the Glen of Tipperary. Plenty of parking and room in the detached apartment.

Mai's Cottage Suite - Charming Holiday Rental, hotel in Kilmallock

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Mai's Cottage Suite - Charming Holiday Rental provides accommodations with a garden and free Wifi.

What a charming cottage in a beautiful location! From the moment we pulled it through the gate, I loved it! The old stone cottage has been beautifully updated and decorated. The cottage is clean and cozy and very well equipped with everything we could have needed. Lily left fresh eggs, bread, milk, butter and jam for our arrival. She was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay. The cottage is in a very quiet location surrounded by beautiful fields. We used Waze to find our way. This is a place you will need to have a car as it’s way off any main roads. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

The Old Bank Bruff Family Town House, hotel in Kilmallock

Offering elegant rooms with luxurious spa baths, The Old Bank is located in the scenic town of Bruff.

Breakfast and location were great although we could not enjoy the town as we arrived at 8.15 pm and it was raining the next morning. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. History of the building was interesting but was not able to get more information other than from the write ups in the building as host was not forthcoming.

Garrane House, hotel in Kilmallock

Garrane House is located 0.9 mi from Croom village and 12 mi from Limerick. You will find a garden and a shared lounge on the property. Breakfast is served in the dining room.

What a great little find this place was. It's oldschool in the best sense of the term - no fuss, just a really comfortable and spacious bedroom in a lovely victorian house, and a clean bathroom. It has lots of touches that make it feel like a hotel (slippers and dressing gown provided etc) but at about half the price of a convenitonal hotel room. The breakfast was surprisingly good - a selection of cheeses and ham, croissants, cereals, orange juice, toast, and fruit. Highly recommended, and handy for Limerick and Shannon airport.

Very friendly people who gave us lots of information about walking and even dropped us carless women at the start of the walk in Ballyhoura and collected us without charging us anything. All the archeological sites and beautiful churches were a unexpected bonus.

A beautiful part of the world.

A beautiful part of the world. Like stepping back in time regarding farming, as in, it reminds me of where we all cane from and love and believe in all that comes with it, back to the land, produce, and a very traditional way to bring up a family xx

Very relaxing hotel close to a village full of medieval buildings The staff were brilliant. From Margaret on reception to Annamaria serving breakfast, you couldn't ask for more helpful people. The rooms were great and the beds were very comfortable. Very clean and cosy setting. I will most definitely recommend to friends and will return next time I'm in the area. Brilliant area for anyone interested in history.

This place is a jewel of a guest house. We were made to feel like part of the family and treated in a first class manner worthy of the finest hotels. Simon and Nicky were great from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was better than any other place we stayed at during our tour. The four poster bed was worthy of a palace, and the bedroom bigger than the ground floor of some houses!

Due to exceptional circumstances (on the provider's side), we only learned late in the evening that we could not use the overnight stay. But the owner found a solution in a nearby hotel, all at their expense, she even added breakfast. A really nice gesture, although we were quite disappointed when we were informed at the location that we could not sleep there.

Large bedroom with a comfortably super king size four poster bed. The breakfast was top class and made to order and the hosts were very friendly and informative about the history of the house. Excellent wifi and a short walk to the small village of Kilmallock.
