Bedroom was comfortable. I was to get a balcony but didn’t and I was too tired to inquire. It’s quiet and pleasant. Nice walks.

We were given a room for our bikes which gave us great security.
The staff were very obliging and helped with taxis.
The rooms were spacious and spotless.
We enjoyed the breakfast.

The staff from the owner, reception, housekeeping, and kitchen could not have been friendlier, helpful and were all more than welcoming. The rooms are spotless, they have all the things you might need and more. The restaurant has excellent food and very reasonably priced. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more and look forward to going back to enjoy the atmosphere soon.

Plenty of parking area. accommodation was excellent. Beds were clean and comfortable. View from windows was good and photographic. Walking around the lock and down the canal is picturesque. Meals and weekend entertainment was exceptional. Excellent meals in the local town pubs.
