During our remarkable journey throughout Ireland, we had the privilege of staying at this exceptional bed and breakfast. The experience was truly outstanding! A notable feature was the ability to pre-select our breakfast from multiple choices the evening prior, ensuring a prompt and seamless service the following morning. My husband, who is gluten and dairy-free, was pleasantly surprised to find he could choose from everything on the menu as our host prepared gluten and dairy-free breakfast for him without hesitation.
The bathroom with rain shower facilities for our double room was of exceptional quality, the beds provided unparalleled comfort, and the cleanliness of the b&b was impeccable. This bed and breakfast stands out as the best accommodation we encountered during our travels. I wholeheartedly endorse this accommodation, and the idyllic presence of beautiful beaches both sides of the B&B further enhances the allure of this location.
Additionally, most of their breakfast products come from their farm or are locally sourced, adding to the charm.
We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful night's sleep and awoke in the morning to the sound of the cockerel crowing.
I have given this review a lot of thought because this accommodation deserves it.
100% recommend!

Killala is a lovely place. The town is very clean and tidy.
Killala is a lovely place. The town is very clean and tidy. The people are charming, very friendly and helpful. There are good places to eat and drink. I went into a pub just before closing on the Sunday evening of a Bank Holiday weekend for food and it was no problem at all. There are several beautiful beaches not far from Killala. There are 2 easy walks in and around the town, along the quay and a greenway, part of which goes past a local horse racing yard. The scenery is striking and it is a place of historical interest too.

Historical village (cathedral, round tower) and a great base for exploring the area. Ross Strand beach is only a few minutes drive away. Lovely offroad walk around village (follow greenway signs) and can follow road back towards village and down to the quay. Only 10 minutes from Ballina which has big selection of shops and supermarkets if you need to stock up.

Killala is a quiet but beautiful village with easy (10 mins by car) access to Ballina which has full shopping facilities etc. Having said that the village itself has everything you need with a pub which serves great food, a small Centra supermarket, a sweet shop & a fantastic cafe (On the Way Cafe) with scones to die for! A car is a must as there are some lovely spots nearby. Kilcummin Beach (15 mins by car) is a stunning deserted beach for a long walk or a boogie board or surfing session. Enniscrone beach is 30 mins away by car & again is a stunning beach to walk or have a surf lesson on (surf boards for hire too). There are plenty of beautiful walks near Killala. Part of the Atlantic Way can be accessed from Killala village or visit the woods at Beleek Castle or further afield enjoy a short river walk
in picturesque Easky or the stunning Aughris Head cliff walk. Make sure you visit the Downpatrick sea stack - a gem. Although an hour away by car, Mountain bikers will enjoy the trails at Union Wood.

Had a really lovely stay at the Secret Garden with our 3 small kids. The house had everything we needed and more. The hosts even went out of their way to leave treats for the kids and beautiful baby toiletries for our 8 month old. A real home away from home. Location was also good, just a 2 minute drive to Killala to restaurants and shops and Ross Beach close by also. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful little cottage. The bed was amazing, so comfortable and the heated blankets were an added bit of luxury. The shower was fab.
Very well appointed, had everything you could want or need. The position of the cottage was perfect. Just by the water and a very short walk up in to Killala where there are a few nice pubs, a shop and a cafe.
Lovely house with everything you could need provided. We weren’t arriving until early evening & the wood burner had been lit for us & turf & firefighters left, so was lovely & cosy. ideal
base as we were visiting my husband’s family & friends in the area, so know beautiful Killala & surrounds very well.
Great location, near Killala, Lacken and Ballina. Very friendly lady called Mary running it, she made me a nice cup of tea on arrival! House is beautiful, shower and bathroom facilities beautiful, clean and easy to use. Beds were comfortable, had great sleep.
